ELIGIBILITY
Open to independently owned and operated businesses.
Must have been in operation for at least 12 months at the time of nomination.
Must employ fewer than 50 employees.
Must demonstrate growth and contribution to the local or industry-specific economy.
Businesses from all sectors are eligible.
Judging Criteria
Judges will assess entries based on the following:
Business Performance – Evidence of financial growth, stability, and operational success.
Innovation & Creativity – Introduction of new ideas, services, or products.
Customer Focus – Proven commitment to delivering high levels of customer satisfaction.
Leadership & Culture – Strong leadership, team development, and a positive workplace culture.

Clear business mission and values.
Vision for long-term growth and sustainability.
Entrepreneurial spirit and adaptability to change.
Unique selling proposition (USP) and differentiation in the market.
Testimonials or case studies reflecting customer or client satisfaction.
METRICS
Year-over-year revenue or profit growth.
Employee headcount changes.
Retention and customer satisfaction rates.
Number of new clients/customers acquired.
Website traffic or digital engagement (if applicable).
Product or service expansion achievements.
ADDITIONAL CRITERIA
Must not be part of a franchise (unless locally owned and operated with independent decision-making).
Must not have received this award in the past two years.
The business must be compliant with all applicable laws and tax obligations.
Judges may request financial documentation to validate claims.
